The July 14th date is still very popular, being Bastille Day (there are a lot of French-heritage wineries in Sonoma and Napa) - please book as early as possible. Our wedding site is on the northern edge of the city of Sonoma, about a mile from Sonoma Plaza along Hwy. 12.

We've reserved a block of 10 rooms for the nights of July 13th and 14th, 2007 at the Sonoma Mission Inn in Sonoma, CA. This is our wedding venue. Rooms are not cheap: the "Thompson-Coon Wedding" group rate is $359/night plus tax. Most places in Sonoma are considerably less expensive.

We don't have blocks anywhere else, but some people are staying at El Pueblo Inn. We did a walkthrough of that hotel and found it pleasant, clean, and affordable.

We also recommend checking the Sonoma Visitor's Bureau lodging site, which you can search by date.
Nearby towns (Glen Ellen and Kenwood) are only five miles up the road from our venue, so consider rooms there, as well.
